The Journey...

Maryfrances grew up in a small shoreline town in Connecticut. She started venturing into Manhattan at age 16 to study acting at Circle in The Square’s summer acting program and hasn’t let up since.She earned her BFA in acting from Marymount Manhattan College. In New York she acted in several independent films including Alan Taylor’s “Kill The Poor”, distributed by IFC Films and performed in numerous stage productions including “Macbeth” and “Savage in Limbo”.

 

Her passion for film led her west where she has had Co-Star roles on series including "Big Little Lies," "How To Get Away With Murder", "The Rookie" and "Stitchers". Mary's had major roles in films including "Tough Guy", "Broken Roads", “Last Exit,” and “In Memory of Me” which won her a Best Actor Award from director Brian Dannelly and premiered on MTV's Logo Network.

 

Maryfrances is a strong advocate for the environment and very involved in the animal rights movement. She strives to incend her artistry with her activism and vice versa. Maryfrances currently resides in L.A. with her cat Patches and studies with acting teacher John Kirby.
